Welcome to the Harrow Light Opera Company

Welcome to the Harrow Light Opera Company website. Founded in 1944, we are a very active and friendly group, presenting two major musical productions every year in our current home at the Watersmeet Theatre, Rickmansworth.

After a very successful run in October 2007 with Carousel, a joint production with PHEOS (Pinner and Hatch End Operatic Society), we are delighted to announce that our next show will be the exciting Witches of Eastwick, from 22nd-26th April, 2008 once again at the Watersmeet Theatre. With productions costing around £30,000 we rely on a small but dedicated voluntary management team for our continued growth. Professional Directors, Musical Directors and Choreographers ensure that the highest possible standards are achieved, in addition to which each production involves up to 40 people on stage, and a further army of around 100 invaluable people back-stage and front of house! So we’re always looking for new members to join us.
